ABOUT SUZANNAH
I became fascinated by the impact that
diet, lifestyle, environment and food production methods can have on health
while being treated for breast cancer in 1989. Having American and British
parents and a French education also made me keenly aware of differing meal and
eating patterns. The ultimate catalyst in this interest has been the desire to
ensure a happy and healthy future for my son, and the other little people who
make up the next generation in my family.
Nutrition is sometimes thought of as being a dry subject with many ‘don’ts’. But in reality it is an eye-opening adventure which takes you on an exploration of the marvels of the human body. If you enjoy food you CAN be a ‘foodie’. It is more a case of lots of ‘do’s’.
A great pleasure for me has been the ability to offer the information I have studied and researched to a wider public via my writing and the media. I really do believe that we can all make a difference to our own health and to that of our families, and in so doing in the health of the nation – each of us can touch and inspire other people.
·Always busy researching and writing, I have ten books to my credit. I write·I am a member of The Guild of Health Writers and The Guild of Food Writers.
·I have a masters degree in Nutrition Information and have studied at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition, as well as studying many other natural health modalities.
