As a recent convert to the idea of the detox, I found this a balanced read.
Suzannah Olivier presents the underlying biology of why we need to eat more of
some things and less of others in clear and easily understandable terms. This
was particularly helpful to someone who has remained a little sceptical about
the hype around the detox diet. She provides useful practical guidance along
with some suggested meal plans for three different approaches to the detox: the
intensive 3 day detox, the slower 10 day detox, and the 'lifelong' plan”.
